Oppo F21 pro series launch date in India: Oppo company has revealed that their upcoming smartphones Oppo F21 Pro series is all set to launch in India. They announced the launch date will be on April 12. The two smartphone variants will be launched in an online event that will be conducted at 5 pm on the launch date.
The company will launch its upcoming smartphone series in two variants i.e; Oppo F21 Pro and Oppo F21 Pro 5G. Oppo F21 Pro will be 4G. The Oppo F21 Pro series will be the successor of the Oppo F19 Pro smartphone series as the company launched the Oppo F19 Pro series last year.

Coming to the color options of the upcoming smartphone will be the following, Oppo F21 Pro will come in cosmic black and sunset orange colors. F21 Pro 5G will come in cosmic black and rainbow spectrum color.
The company has claimed that its F21 Pro series will be equipped with an “industry-first” Fibreglass-Leather design on the back.
The base material will have lychee-grain leather to impart a plush feel and is waterproof and wear-resistant to a good extent. It means, that even though the phone is unlikely to have an IP rating, it could still withstand water splashes. This material will be available only in the Sunset Orange color variant, but Oppo will provide another feature in another variant. It uses Oppo’s signature Glow technology for a glossy finish on the back. The company claims that the back of this color variant is fingerprint and stain-resistant. Another, sunset orange variant will come with a Fiberglass-leather design and it will double up as a ‘frameless’ battery cover.
Oppo F21 Pro 5G will probably have the 5G chipset instead of the 4G chipset which is equipped in the Oppo F21 Pro model. The 5G chipset will enable 5G connectivity for high-speed internet.
The detailed specifications of any of these phones are not confirmed yet. While the F21 Pro Cosmic Black color variant will likely be the same as the Cosmic Black variant of the F21 Pro 5G. The Rainbow Spectrum will use “a three-layer texture and a two-layer coating” manufacturing process which give the phone its dazzling rainbow appearance.
Other than these smartphone variants, there is a buzz that there will be another variant named likely Oppo F21 Pro Plus. The company has not clarified it and there is no clear information about it at the moment.
While the exact specifications are not revealed yet, since these phones are the successor to the F19 and F19 Pro, we can expect them to bring better cameras, better performance, and better battery life with faster-charging technology.
Oppo F19 Pro is still on sale. To recall its features, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P95 processor and has come with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p display resolution having a top-left punch-hole on the screen. It has 48MP quad cameras, 4310mAh battery with 30W fast charging, and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 software. Oppo has launched the enhanced version of Oppo F19 Pro, named Oppo F19 Pro Plus with improved specifications such as a 50W fast-charging battery, 90Hz display, and 5G connectivity.
The full specifications and Indian prices of the new F21 Pro series smartphones will be announced then after the launch event that will be held at 5 pm on April 12. However, a recent online report suggests that the company will first launch the smartphones in India followed by a global launch. Apart from this, no other detailed information about the upcoming smartphones is available right now.
