Mera Ration app is a new mobile application launched by the Indian Government. The main aim of launching the app is for the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) program’s beneficiaries. The government has developed the Mera Ration app in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC). The app facilitates several ONORC-related services for NFSA beneficiaries.

What is the Mera Ration app?
As we mentioned above, India’s government has developed the Mera Ration app in association with the NIC. It has been designed to make it easy for the National Food Security Act’s beneficiaries to use a single ration card pan India. Using the app, users can check the status of food grain entitlement, Aadhaar seeding, recent transactions, and many more.
Mera Ration App Features
Currently, the Mera Ration app is available in two languages, i.e., Hindi and English. However, in the coming days, the app will support up to 14 regional languages. Users can check their AADHAAR seeding, enrollment details, registration details, eligibility criteria, nearby ration shops, and previous transactions using the app.
Also, users can check which states are covered under the One Nation One Ration Card program. Currently, under the program, 32 states and union territories are covered. Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, and West Bengal remain to be covered in the coming months.
Lastly, users can also give suggestions and feedback on the app. Currently, the Mera Ration mobile application is available only for Android-based smartphone users. How To Use The Mera Ration App?
It is pretty easy to use the Mera Ration app. Follow the below give instructions/steps to start using the application.
- Download the Mera Ration app from Play Store using the above-provided link.
- Click on the ‘Registration’ button as you can find it on the home screen.
- Enter your ration card number and click ‘Submit.’
- Now, you can start using and exploring the features of the Mera Ration app.
- Click on the ‘Know your entitlement’ option to check your availing benefits.
- Click on the option ‘Nearby Ration Shops’ to view all the fair-price shops near your location. It also provides directions on Google Maps.
- Click on the ‘Registration’ option and scroll down to ‘Migration details’ to change your current location.

What is the One Nation, One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme?
On a pilot basis, in 2019, the One Nation, One Ration Card scheme was introduced in four states by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.
